Open Multi-Agent Systems are formed by autonomous and heterogeneous agents that may pursue different and even conflicting goals. Thus, it is needed to constrain the potential excesses of agent autonomous behaviour by means of regulation of agent interaction. With this aim, this paper describes a new model of norms for agent organizations and its implementation in a specific multi-agent platform. This paper has been published in the Journal of Logic and Computation, which has been awarded an Impact Factor of 0.647 for 2012. According to Google Scholar this paper has received 9 citations.
