Additional information

<20> Significance: Published in ACM CHI, the best and most competitive conference in HCI. Originality: First paper to look at the effects of environmental conditions on the use of thermal interfaces. Contribution: The first paper to address the use of thermal feedback in varying environmental conditions, an important factor for the use and adoption of thermal interfaces. The research quantified the effect of environmental effects for thermal perception and confirmed that our earlier thermal feedback design recommendations (CHI 2011) still hold in varying environmental conditions, demonstrating that these interfaces can be used in a variety of scenarios.
