Additional information

Collier was last published in 2001. The work has a totally new focus, placing the law in its practical context. Much of the subject has been revolutionised, overturning the old law. Choice of law for contractual and non-contractual obligations is subject to completely new European Regulations. Jurisdiction under the Brussels regime has been remodelled (twice) in the intervening period. In particular the relationship with the Brussels regime is yet to be fully worked through. There have been many groundbreaking cases in all areas of private international law, such as characterisation and domicile. The book has been almost completely rewritten.
