In situ characterization of alloy catalysts for low-temperature graphene growth.
The significance of this line of research on graphene chemical vapour deposition is highlighted by the fact that it was awarded an EPSRC programme grant with Hoffmann leading as PI ("GRAPHTED", Feb 2013-Jan 2018, GBP2.3M, EP/K016636/1) and that it received funding as part of a NMP Large-scale Integrating Project (EU FP7, "GRAFOL", Oct. 2011-Sep. 2015, UCam GBP900k, Ref: 285275). Furthermore, Hoffmann received 5 invitations to present this work at major international conferences [NT13 (Keynote), ESSDERC 2013 (Tutorial), FINELUMEN International Conference 2012 organised by Philips Research (Plenary), NASA International Workshop on SWNT growth 2013, IWEPNM 2012].
