GfXpress: A technique for synthesis and optimization of GF(2m) polynomials
<13>This paper presents a novel approach for designing hardware modelled with multivariate multiple output GF(2m) polynomials, which is significantly superior to existing techniques and industrial tools. An international patent (No. PCT/GB2007/00420) has been filed. This approach is undergoing commercialization through proof-of-concept funding and has been well received in the industrial community as a novel electronic design automation tool especially suited for designing high performance reliable crypto hardware, arithmetic and logic systems, as well as systems targeted for nano-technology implementations. An industry grade tool is currently being developed with the possibility of a spin-out company.
