<22>This paper is part of a series of six journal papers by Cuzzolin which study the link between belief and probability measures. This paper is the first to propose decision frameworks analogous to Smets' TBM for probability intervals, with potential for widespread application among belief theory practitioners. It laid the basis for the ‘Next10’ grant and studentship awarded by Oxford Brookes University, and an upcoming EPSRC proposal “The total belief theorem”. It contributed to the author's upcoming monograph, the first on the geometry of uncertainty.
