Additional information

A collaborative and novel project between Keele University, SOLEIL Synchotron, and Universite de Reims applied FTIR and Raman microspectroscopies to define spectroscopic signatures of different stem cell types. The study was supported by EU FP6 NoE “EXPERTISSUES”, EPSRC “Bridging the Gaps” and the Franco-British Partnership Programme (Alliance 2010). Elements of the work presented formed distinct components of the PhD awards to both Pijanka JK and Kumar D and were presented at conference level to SPEC 2012.
