Additional information

This is one of two publications on the National Home Reading Union published by Snape since the RAE 2008, and complements a paper returned to that exercise. It gives insight to the history of voluntarism in leisure and middle-class intervention in late Victorian holiday-making. The author is the principal historian of this organization.
