This paper was one of the first to propose and validate a modelling and automated reasoning framework which customizes a software requirements model to fit the contextual profile of a specific organization. The paper’s findings helped formulate a project proposal “Requirements-Driven Adaptive Access Control” which was funded by UTRC Cork and Lero Research Centre Ireland (€60k). It also contributed to a €100k Marie Curie CIG Grant awarded to Dr. Ali (SOCIAD project). The research findings made substantial part of Dr. Ali’s PhD. The foundations of the modelling part of this paper were published in top conferences: CAiSE’08 and ER’08.
