Additional information

<07>Premier parallel programming journal paper, extends work originally presented in one of the four awarded best papers of the 2010 ACM International Conference on Computing Frontiers (doi:10.1145/1787275.1787328). Paper presents the interconnect architecture of the successful SARC processor architecture, the culmination of a flagship 8.5 million EU Integrated Project (FP7-27648) and further exploited in the FORMIC heterogeneous many-core processor prototyping platform (doi:10.1109/FCCM.2012.20) and the Myrmics region-based parallel programming model (10.1145/2258996.2259001), both major outcomes of the ENCORE FP7 project (FP7-248647). Research findings also underpin new network devices developed by IBM Research supporting link speeds of over 100 Gigabits/second (doi: 10.1145/2482759.2482761).
