Additional information

<28> A major challenge in computational neuroscience is to construct models that match physiological data. This is a key model explaining memory consolidation n the context of potentiation and depression and has strongly influenced the field of synaptic plasticity (over 40 Google Scholar citations including major review papers). The work was an international collaboration funded by EU FP7 FACETS and the Swiss National Foundation. PLoS Comp. Bio has an impact factor of 4.867, and is ranked 4/47 in Mathematical and Computational Biology.
