This paper was published in one of the leading journals on antennas and presents a technique for modelling source excitation in frequency-dependent media. The technique has been applied internationally in various fields, e.g. ground penetrating radar (http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jappgeo.2011.05.003), quantum optics (http://www.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/archiv/12822), the Body Area Network (contact details available) and FDTD algorithm development (DOI: 10.1109/UWBUSIS.2010.5609168). Additionally, the ESEO University Group (France) uses the software developed during this work (contact details available).
