Additional information

Atmospheric pressure plasma processing is used to induce chemical grafting of hydrophilic macromonomers for the purpose of obtaining non-biofouling surfaces. This use of dielectric barrier discharge technology stimulated the subsequent design and build of a novel patented plasma deposition system geometry (evidence file: D’Sa1-1 and D’Sa1-2).
