<22>This paper presents an algorithm for the reactive forgetting of ontology fragments (informed by acquisition cost and degree of use); this is a novel contribution to both the agent and Semantic Web communities, which have so far concentrated on ontology learning. The algorithm was evaluated empirically using an extension to the commonly-used Robocup Rescue environment. This was an invited paper at IJCAI, based on a Best Paper award at ISWC2010.
