Significance of output:

<22>This paper describes the first mechanism to coordinate intermittent wind energy providers with customers owning storage capacity in the smart grid.

Led to industrial funded research project worth £600K (SECURE).

The properties of the mechanisms were validated empirically using simulated wind generation using standard wind generation models as well as consumption data based on the UK national average domestic unrestricted consumption.
