<22>First agent trust model based exclusively on principled statistical techniques, with no heuristics or approximations.

Key component of the CONOISE project (funded by BT Research labs) for the development of effective virtual organisations for Grid Computing contexts and named as key point of departure in follow-on EPSRC project in the same area (GR/S62710/01).

Formed the basis of the Southampton entry that won the First and Second international competitions on Agent Reputation and Trust (http://megatron.iiia.csic.es/art-testbed/). These received 20 and 30 entries, respectively, from all over the world.
