Additional information

Complete Twentieth Century Blues, a complex ‘net-(k)not-work(s)’, experiments with the twentieth century long poem by offering strands of reading paths through an otherwise chronological ordering of parts. (It is also time-based.) Its index is part of the text, as are its various poetics. Off-setting the monumentality of the ‘long poem’ against the stranding and multiple reading routes, it contrasts grand narratives with petite histoire. It is definitive but indefinite. It reads form as a dialectic between fixity, numbering and measure (word count often) and the processes of forming which are the result of readerly engagement with its constituent parts.
