Additional information

<01>Originality: This paper presents a novel, compact and more accurate algorithm that can be embedded with signal processing tools to accelerate the design and evaluation processes of stable multi-bit quantizer based delta-sigma modulators.

Significance: The proposed algorithm has been verified for 3-level and 5-level quantizers and can be easily extended to any number of quantizer levels. This algorithm is suitable for data converters in speech processing and mobile communications applications.

Rigour: Mathematical analyses support all the major findings of this research. Results published in a leading, peer-reviewed journal.
