Additional information
This paper reports our work developing and measuring snow avalanche dynamics to unparalleled resolution. This work has secured further support from EPSRC and the Swiss Science Foundation and related radar are being developed for the British Antarctic Survey. Our work will kick-start the development of the next generation of models for risk zoning applications. Radar development has been in partnership with the Swiss Federal Avalanche Institute who are a primary end-user of such data.
