Ambivalent Geographies: The British Concession in Tianjin, China 1860-1946

This is new work that relates to my collaborative research project with Universite Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne and Tianjin University. I am also Premier external advisor for The cultural landscape and public space from a transnational perspective: Studies on urban parks in treaty ports of modern China award from Natural Science Foundation of China (Award No. 51108307, 2012-2014) held by Dr Tianjie Zhang at Tianjin University 2012-14 .
