Additional information

<23> This work proposes a method to significantly reduce the computational efficiency of the Speeded-Up Robust Features algorithm, that is ins widespread use in computer vision, while achieving better matching performance, thus enabling their use in practical mobile robots. This work is part of our ongoing collaboration with NASA Jet Propulsion Lab also linked to our EPSRC ROBOSAS global engagement grant.
