Additional information

This research area, first presented, pre-publication at the Gordon Conference on Chemical Sensors & Interfacial Design has attracted invitations to give >dozen plenary and keynote presentations, including opening plenaries (Asianalysis, 2009 and RSC Tokyo International Conference, 2013). It was selected for the Bioanalytical Sensors Gordon Conference (2012) and its theme nominated as a session lead for 2014; it has resulted in the author nomination as Gordon Chair(2016). This work won the RSC Belcher award (2009), providing the break-through via synthetic biology to design directly connected mutant-GOx, which others are only just beginning to pick up.
