Additional information
Higgins undertook the selection and transcription of key extracts in the debates and was the key author in the analysis of the exchanges. Higgins was also key author in the discussion of modes of address and the rhetorical strategies used by participants, as well as in how the findings contribute to understanding of the development of political populism. In addition, Higgins led in situating the findings within specific debates on personalisation and populism within the field of political communications.
