Additional information

This paper proved for the first time that the model relating the changes from cerebral blood flow to cerebral blood volume can be characterised by a simple linear dynamic model that is consistent across a series of studies on rat brain. The results are an important part of wider studies on neuro-imaging, and resulted in the award of a BBSRC grant BB/K010123/1 £615K 06/2013-05/2016. The results also led to a new collaboration with Dr B Corfe (Medical School, University of Sheffield, email:b.m.corfe@sheffield.ac.uk ), and two new projects have recently been submitted to Yorkshire Cancer Research and BBSRC respectively.
