A new automatic image processing tool for cDNA microarray images is proposed in this paper. The distinguishing feature of this work in comparison to other existing methodologies is that it is based on the integration of different methodologies and the artificial colouring of the images which improves diagnostics. The main novelty is that the proposed method is fully automated and does not require manual intervention
