This paper was selected as an Article of the Future by Elsevier, and is one of more than 20 publications since 2008 on the influence of individual synthesis parameters for CVD carbon nanotubes. The work has allowed the team to generate novel nanomaterials with tailored properties, leading to several new, national and international collaborations and projects including an ERC Starting Grant (EUR 1.39M), an ERC PoC (EUR 150k), resulted in three patent applications, two Marie Curie ITN projects (EUR >7M) and several invitations for invited and keynote talks at major international conferences.
