Additional information

This is a collaboration with cell biochemist. Scaffolds have been designed and manufactured that for the first time get round the 'diffusion problem' that all other tissue engineering scaffolds have. Careful control of material, porosity and channel dimensions have been used to enhance the rate of ECM formation for cartilage and bone. I give several invited lectures on this topic every year, most recently at 3rd ICTE 2013 in Portugal.
