Britain's Experience of Empire in the Twentieth Century

As editor of the volume, I worked with the general editor of the Oxford History of the British Empire Series to agree the scope of the project and the content of the volume. I brought together the team of contributors, and chaired a research workshop in Oxford at which drafts of chapters were presented and discussed. I provided detailed feedback to each of the contributors on submission of their work, which was incorporated into revised versions of their chapters. I then edited their final submissions. I contributed an Introduction and Afterword to the volume as well as a chapter.
