Additional information

<07> This approach to modelling prompting dialogues in care practice does not require specialised practitioner knowledge. A novel solution combines automated formalisation, rigorous analysis and dialogue implementation. This is demonstrated to offer greater flexibility and to produce improved results when compared to previous work by others (e.g. O'Neill et al. (2010) ‘Scaffolding rehabilitation behaviour’ DOI 10.1080/09602010903519652). The work was undertaken in cooperation with the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (Dr. B. O'Neill <brian.oneill@thedtgroup.org>). Dialogues provided by the Trust were analysed, with errors being fed back to them.
