Additional information

<13> Spike detection is the first step in the interpretation of electrophysiological recordings. This technique is now available on the CARMEN Neuroscience e-Portal (an EPSRC/BBSRC funded e-Science project to assist electrophysiologists in sharing data and techniques for processing data – see portal.carmen.org.uk). The originality of the technique is in employing higher-order statistics within the context of this application area.
