The catalogue, and first monograph, Dexter Dalwood (Tate Publishing and JRP Ringier,160 pps, ISBN: 978-3-03764-126-2) included essays by Dalwood, Michael Bracewell, Terry R Myers, and an interview by Martin Clark (Tate St Ives Artistic Director) and Florence Derieux (Director of FRAC). Tate St Ives also produced a video (Tate Shots: Meet the Artist), shown during the exhibition and currently available as a Tate podcast. In the foreword to the publication. Dalwood’s works were described by Clark to ‘typically depict imaginary and constructed interiors or landscapes, usually devoid of figures, that act as memorials or descriptions of various historic people, places or moments people who populate our shared cultural memory.’

Reviews included: The Guardian (Skye Sherwin, 6 February 2010); The Independent (Charles Darwent, March 2010); Artforum (John-Paul Stonard, April 2010); and Art Monthly (Cherry Smyth, March 2010), with articles in Art in America (In the Studio With Dexter Dalwood, David Coggins, January 2010) and Tate Etc. (When History Collapses, David Anfam, Issue 18, Spring 2010).

The exhibition resulted in a nomination for the 2010 Turner Prize at Tate Britain (October 2010-January 2011) accompanied by a catalogue, 32 pps. (ISBN: 978-1-85437-839-2), essay by Katharine Stout (Tate Curator), accompanying video shown on Channel 4.
