Additional information

The digital control system used to operate the Coriolis mass flow metering transmitter technology developed at Oxford is used in Invensys’ CFT-50/1 mass flow meters. This award-winning product has sold approximately $38M since its launch, being the first Coriolis meter capable of maintaining operation through two-phase flows and empty-full-empty batches, a capability now being copied by others in the industry. This technology has been the basis of over 20 granted patents, and of additional innovations such as Wet Gas metering and Coriolis-based multiphase flow measurement.
