Additional information

This is the first published work on the explicit design of tangentially propagating wearable antennas and on the proper evaluation of their on-body performance. Previous work on wearable antennas only looked at the onbody performance of existing, unmodified, antenna structures. The work has wide applicability in both antenna research and in product engineering (e.g., in the form of an EPSRC Knowledge Transfer Secondment with Toumaz Technology, a leading UK medical device company).
