As authors of the main research on County Farms Estates in England and Wales, major research for DEFRA on Agricultural Tenancies, and New Entrants to Farming in England and Wales, myself and Mr Nick Millard (Co-author and Chairman of Bruton Knowles Property Consultants) were invited to give expert evidence in person, as well as in writing, to the Rural Development Sub-Committee of the National Assembly for Wales. As a result of the Inquiry, the Minister of Rural Affairs made a number of commitments on action (response dated 9th February 2011) in response to six recommendations made by the Committee.
