<29> This paper provides a novel insight into the ways that newly emerging technologies can provide tools that enhance possibilities for engagement and participation. Its main significance lies in its proposals of how to productively make use of social media in Action Research processes, opening up new dimensions for Action Research . It was ranked 9th out of 50 most-read articles for November 2012 by SAGE publications. The work was supported by the European Social Fund (ESF).
