<29> Major output in Data Integration strand of the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Data and Methods (WISERD) project funded by HEFCW and ESRC (2009-2011). This study is the first to examine the implications of using different measures of accessibility for the study of the salutogenic effects of green spaces in health studies. Study demonstrated the policy implications of using different GIS-based measures of access in examining spatial inequalities to services and has formed the basis of further collaborative studies in the 2nd phase of the WISERD initiative funded by the St David’s Group of Universities in Wales (2012-2015).
