The author significantly contributed with multiple aspects of the study on the interaction of plasma jets with ambient media, including advice on the design of the experiments, the use of a novel high density gas-jet as a target (the loan of which Dr Bland organised with colleagues at Alameda Applied Sciences), and aid in the design and fielding of several specialised diagnostics. Following the authors' acquisition of the data, he helped draft and critique the interpretation of the results in the resultant paper.
