Additional information

In addition to writing the introduction (pp. 1-11), Michael O’Neill is sole author of chapters on Shelley’s ‘Sonnets and Odes’ (325-40) and use of pronouns in later poems (391-407), and is co-author of a chapter on ‘Shelley and the English Tradition: Spenser and Pope’ (495-512). He played a major role in in framing the objectives and shape of the volume and organising the 42 essays. He undertook editorial correspondence with contributors, suggesting revisions and alterations; he oversaw the compilation of the index (689-711), the notes on texts and abbreviations and on contributors, and the volume’s copy-editing and proof-reading.
