Additional information

Patrizio is co-author of this book chapter in a peer-reviewed book addressing the legacy of Darwin in the visual arts and published on the occasion the double anniversary of 2009. An international range of authors contributed collectively to an analysis of visuality and the arts in connection with evolutionary science. The chapter derives from research undertaken as part of the 'Species of Origin' AHRC Speculative Grant (PI A Patrizio, 2006-8); as such the main concepts and argument in the chapter are Patrizio's. It was reviewed as 'a stunning collection' (Nineteenth-Century French Studies, Vol39, No.3&4, 2011).
