Additional information
Paper describes how tools of non-linear analysis can be used to understand and change dynamics of genes composing novel synthetic network published previously by the authors [di Bernardo-2]. Using simulation and continuation techniques, it is shown that network can be turned into tunable synthetic oscillator or bistable switch. Results provide guidelines to re-engineer network in vivo to tune its dynamics. Paper was included in Plos One Synthetic Biology Collection [tinyurl.com/gen-eng-3], and in RECOMB Regulatory Genomics and Systems Biology 2009 Collection [tinyurl.com/gen-eng-107].
