This work was originally accepted for oral presentation (3% acceptance rate) at MICCAI'12, an internationally well-established, double-blind peer-reviewed conference in the field. This cross-disciplinary work, carried out jointly with researchers in MR physics and fetal medicine, describes the first integrated, automated approach for fusion of 3D (reconstructed) brain MRI with 3D fetal ultrasound, which enables to pursue multi-modality quantitative analysis of the developing brain.
