Additional information

The second of two companion papers focused on application of MWT for imaging of the extremity’s soft tissues. A novel 4D MWT imaging concept was developed and successfully tested in experimental imaging of animal extremities. One of imaging results – an assessment of compartmental injuries attracts attention of orthopedic surgeons and leads to new potential international collaboration with the Carolinas Medical Center (NC, USA). This was also a key deliverable from NIH funding (R01 Grant No: Grant No: 5R01EB007211), Prof Semenov is the Principal Investigator of the NIH funded project. Semenov is the lead author on this paper.
