Double-weighted statement

This is a single-authored monograph of over 300 pages (120,000 words), published with a press recognised by art historians for its high standards and rigorous peer review. The book was researched and written over ten years, mainly in Britain (using on-site building studies; extensive interviews with over twenty subjects; and archival research in local planning offices, five university archives, personal collections, and the RIBA drawings collection), but also in Montreal (three two-week trips to the Canadian Center for Architecture), Germany (Deutsche Architektur Museum) and Paris (Fondation Le Corbusier, Maisons Jaoul).
