Additional information

This paper demonstrates that Spatially Resolved Acoustic Spectroscopy (SRAS) can image, in a quantitative sense, the crystallographic orientation of each component part of the material microstructure. This significantly enriches the value of the information that SRAS scans show and proves SRAS can be an alternative to Electron Back-Scattered Diffraction (EBSD). It is being commerialised through a partnership with Renishaw Colin.Bulled@Renishaw.com
