Additional information

This paper pioneered the use of solvothermal processing to recycle carbon fibre materials with the ability to recover fibres with near virgin properties. This process was scaled up during TSB project AFRECAR (PWDUKE@mail.dstl.gov.uk) and these pilot scale facilities are now part of a 4.5 million euro Danish National Project (ns@force.dk)
