Additional information

<12> Best paper award at a main international conference on Evolutionary Computation (GECCO) and invited for publication in a top journal. This is the first time a time-complexity analysis is accomplished in general settings across representations. Also it offers a simple way of analysing crossover, a major theoretical challenge. An anonymous reviewer said: "I cannot point out enough how significant this contribution is. I see this work becoming a standard reference in any future work on crossover." Another said: "Some results are truly beautiful and surprising. It clearly is one of the most interesting and strongest GA papers I read".
