Additional information

This paper was produced in collaboration with the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Turbomachinery, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. It quantifies the effect of manufacturing errors on the performance of an axial two-stage steam turbine, allowing manufacturers to optimise designs for real rather than idealised component geometry. This paper adds to a body of work that has been adopted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) to be embedded onto the design processes of the company (Contact: hiroharu_ooyama@mhi.co.jp )
