Ervin Bossanyi : Vision, art and exile

Brown co-conceptualised and co-edited this volume, the first on the artist, co-commissioning and co-coordinating the submissions of a range of scholars from the UK, US and continental Europe, and from the histories of painting, sculpture, textiles, metalwork and stained glass.Brown familiarised herself with the artist's practice in the UK, USA, continental Europe and South Africa, drawing on archival sources relating to each location. Brown also conducted technical analyses of the artist's stained glass. Brown wrote chapter 7 (pp. 154-197) and the postscript (p. 219-220) and co-authored the Checklist of Principal Works (pp. 226-268).
