Double-weighted statement

This 100,000-word book is based on research in UK libraries and archives over five years. It was supported by the AHRC and published in hardback by Cambridge University Press in 2008. E-book and paperback editions followed. Extensive primary sources, totalling approximately 130 items, were consulted, along with over 200 secondary sources. Primary sources (manuscript and print) ranged from court documents and records to texts written in Latin, French, Italian, and Spanish, and literary and dramatic works. Sources were closely analysed, and multiple editions compared, in order to write the first comprehensive history of the coronation ceremony in Reformation England.
