Representing and classifying arguments on the Semantic Web
<11> Collaborative with a team in Dubai and a colleague in Canada, this paper builds on previous work published in venues such as Artificial Intelligence, and forms one of the outputs of the EPSRC-funded Dialectical Argumentation Machines project (EP/G060347/1, £560k). It provides for the first time a description logic account of the Argument Interchange Format (AIF), a new standardisation initiative involving a consortium of partners from Australia, Argentina, US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Spain, and spear-headed by Dundee and which is now being used to engineer Argument Web infrastructure for users such as the BBC.
